Scripps Seaside Forum Wedding

This was my first time doing a wedding at the beautiful Scripps Seaside Forum, what a beautiful location! It's located just about La Jolla Shores with 180 degree view of the ocean. We couldn't have asked for better weather that day, it was absolutely perfect!

We made sunset colored pomander balls that hung down the isle from burgundy satin ribbon. The large arrangements at the front of the ceremony were my favorite. We wrapped the outside of the vase with dark bamboo which tied in the tropical feel and incorporated the deep burgundy accent color. We used a fish tail palm leaf and curly willow with orchids to give the arrangements height. We used mango calla lilies, red james story orchids, orange mokara orchids, billy balls and circus roses in these asymmetrical pieces.

I love when brides incorporate personal touches in their wedding. For the wrap on Marisa's achromatic bouquet we used a piece of her mother's wedding dress and her grandmother's rosary, what a special touch!!!
